The Preserve Golf Club officially received the designation as a Certified Silver Audubon International Signature Sanctuary in May 2007. The Preserve is one of only 21 golf facilities in the world to receive this prestigious designation.
The golf course joined the Audubon Signature Program to assure the development included comprehensive environmental planning during and after the construction. The Preserve is dedicated to helping protect the natural environment while maintaining the pristine conditions of the golf course.

Stephen Miles, Director of Operations Wins MTA Outstanding Turf Professional Award for 2022
Stephen Miles, Director of Operations at The Preserve Golf Club was awarded the Outstanding Turf Professional Award for 2022 by the Mississippi Turfgrass Association (MTA.). Alan Sullivan, MTA President, presented the award to Stephen for his outstanding leadership in the industry.
Miles and his Golf Course Superintendent, Jeremy Stevens, supported by the entire grounds staff at The Preserve Golf Club, ensure the course is always kept in immaculate condition. Stephen, a certified golf course superintendent, graduated from Mississippi State University’s Golf & Sports Turf Management Program in 1998. He served as President of the MTA in 2009, in addition to serving on the board and numerous committees of MTA. Miles has long been dedicated to the turf industry and MTA and was instrumental in establishing Best Management Practices in Mississippi.
